Edrumin10 feeding 2 laptops

Is it possible for an edrumin10 to be connected two two separate laptops running different VST's with a splitter to run both simultaneously, or must a switch be used to select routing to one laptop at a time? an ED4 is feeding the ED10 host port Couldn't find this topic addressed in forum history.

You could have the ED10 connected via USB to one laptop and connected to the other via the eDRUMin MIDI out and into a MIDI in port on an audio interface, connected to the second laptop.
