1. This is the least important and maybe it is not a failure but the way it works. The ED4 is under the ED8 on the UI of the CA and when I select ED8 then it is underlined with a red line showing that it is the selected one.
It's intentional. I agree it can be a bit confusing, but if you had two ED8's with an ED4 plugged into each, you would see why it's a necessity.

2. ED8 inputs and trigger presets. I've set the inputs to the pad types I want to use. When I tried to select trigger presets to them at some of the inputs I could not do it because the preset list was grey (not white) as if they are not selectable.
This is (was) a known issue and had been fixed in the latest version (2.3.1).

3. Drum map presets. When I want to make a user preset neither way works. When I click on New preset button and try to save the new preset, Error message appears at the bottom of the window for a few seconds and nothing happens, no user preset is created. When I try to copy a factory preset, 'Preset copied to User Presets' message appears at the bottom but nothing happens, and no user preset is created.

4. After restarting the CA it doesn't keep the settings of the Edrumin menu, sometimes all of them, sometimes a few of them. And it doesn't keep the size of the CA window has been set before.
I can't remember for which versions, but there was an macOS installer issue in the recent past that would explain the issue you are seeing. Basically it failed to create folders needed for storing presets and saving settings. Update to the latest version (2.3.1.16) and let me know if it doesn't resolve the issue.

Thanks Rob, the update to 2.3.1.16 solved all problems.
To tell the truth the update process was not totally clear for me. I thought somehow that the CA looks for upgrades on the internet so after it upgraded the modules to the 2.3.0.8 I thought this was the latest version. Maybe this sentence from the manual misled me: 'The latest firmware for eDRUMin is always included with the eDRUMin Control application.'

Of course I was stupid and did not check the homepage if this was really the latest one. My bad...

Anyway, your service is really fantastic and I'm really glad now!
