I've noticed an odd behaviour that I can't track down better than this, but whenever I hit the kick at the exact same time as the snare or the hihat, only the kick sounds.
Kick - ED channel 1
Snare - ED channel 2
HiHat - ED channel 3
This is on an ED10. I'm also running an ED4 but that's only for a 3-zone Ride and a couple cymbals.
Is it possible that the kick midi signal is blocking other channels from sending signal, or is it some bespoke setting I'm not taking into account? Keep in mind that this only happens when I hit the kick and HH or snare simultaneously.
Also, none of the channels are split doing double-duty or anything, at the moment.
Can channels interfere with one another? Strange issue...

Assuming you haven't adjusted your crosstalk cancellation settings, I would say the gain on your kick is set too high. Have a look at the following video for more information about crosstalk cancellation.

That makes perfect sense, and I kind of dismissed it as I didn't see a mechanism for how it would make a difference.Rob wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 2:13 amAssuming you haven't adjusted your crosstalk cancellation settings, I would say the gain on your kick is set too high.
