Change note banks with any midi source?

Hi all,

I've not yet purchased the eDRUMin 10 yet but it looks like exactly the solution I need!

Two questions:

Can the Footswitch (used to change notes/banks) be replaced with a different midi source to change banks?

Also, can the note banks be changed in offline/standalone mode when not plugged in via USB?

Banks can be changed with Program Change messages. It covered in the manual.

And bank changes don't depend on a USB connection, so it'll work fine in standalone operation.
