eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
Yes. Build 7 is working.
Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
It looks to me like the main device never got updated to version 8. It was in 'program mode', waiting to be programmed and that's why it wasn't reporting its version. Power cycling the unit would take it out of program mode.

For what it's worth, I've been applying updates while connected to a (powered) hub for months now, never had any problems.Rob wrote:Works with hubs, too, although I didn't test this extensively.

Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
Anyway, downloaded build 9, hit the firmware update button; went through without a hitch on the ED10. Selected the ED4 icon, hit the firmware update button again; firmware updated with no issues. All with no cable swapping.
So as far as I'm concerned this is a winner. Didn't have any issues like Mylo did.
EDIT: I was still connected through a hub.

Also, the Auto-Select between devices appears to be fixed.
Another thing, when using Splashtop and having the Control Application open, I used to experience lots of audio crackle; that's gone now too. In general, the Control App seems to run smoother, the fan was kicking in quite a bit before, but that's not been happening since build 7.

Updating my graphics library seems to have resolved some macOS performance issues. I suspect the you'll also see similar performance improvements to the iOS app when I get around to updating that.
Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
I appreciate the fact that there is an iOS version; I just haven't been using it much since I discovered Splashtop (and maybe it's the same for Sidecar users) but if there's something new to test there I'll happily jump in.

Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
Update to 1.3.2.9 went smoothly on my edrumin10 and edrumin4 plugged into it. Still the compatibility issue on the ride bell always appears and disappears.
Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
Lalo, do you think you could give me a step by step procedure to reproduce the issue?
Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
Well, I don't do anything in particular, I just start hitting things,at start up the exclamation mark on the ride bell connected to input 10 of the edrumin 10 appears, I hit the ride and the mark is gone but as soon as I hit a drum/cymbal connected to the edrumin4 and then come back to the edrumin10 it shows the mark again, so it seems to happen when switching from drums connected from the edrumin10 to the edrumin4 and viceversa, it doesn't bother me though since I don't play with the edrumin control app open.Rob wrote:Lalo, do you think you could give me a step by step procedure to reproduce the issue?
