If your up to date with SD3, then fast stepping fix is not needed as you can disable their 'auto splash' feature which is responsible for those artifacts. Nonetheless, I'll look into it.

As for the map, I'm pretty sure 23 is the splash note.
Are you saying fast stepping fix is now redundant? But thanks for looking into it. Currently I'm back on 1.6 to play.

Ah yes, splash note is 23, sorry, but the point stands - eDRUMin doesn't seem to default to 21 foot pedal, 23 splash.

Hi friends, hi Rob,
so i installed version 2 and I'm writing a few bugs here.

-Pedal selection ... type "sustain" is incorrectly marked as "sutain".
-When using the sustain pedal as a bank switch, the "latch-momentary" function button works the other way around ...
-When I used "Factory reset", tresh is set to 0.8 by default. In version 1.6 it's also 0.8, but okay ... in version 2, three inputs immediately incorrectly trigger hits ... noise is higher ...why???
-I have snare in input 1, hihat in input 5. When I enter "auto select off", I manually select input 7, then I hit hihat and instead of hihat snare flashes. After returning to 1.6, I found out that it does the same here. Is it a feature? Or the error of my eDrumin.

Fixed in the next build.

I could not reproduce the issue. Seems to work fine here.

I had made a very small change to how the signal is measured. I'll change it back in the next build and if the noise it still causing issues, I'll raise the default thresh.

I'm seeing that too. The hihat will cause the input 1 to light up and the ring half of dual mono inputs doesn't light up at all. I'll fix it for the next build. UPDATE: Fixed in the next build.

That's weird...
I'll try with another pedal and let you know ...

I posted build 25
  • Fixed 'Sutain' typo
  • Reverted a change that could cause slightly more noise on ED10 devices
  • Fixed an issue with adjusting bell sense thresh on ring half of dual mono inputs
  • Fixed Bow, Edge, Bell note controls not working in Pedal Editor.
  • Fixed an issue where the wrong input could light up when hitting a pad, especially if auto-select was disabled.
  • Added additional positional sensing control for stereo mesh pads with center mounted sensors.
  • Added a factory preset for my drum-tec 14" snare.

Hey Rob sorry to report that your fix of the issue with adjusting bell sense thresh on ring half of dual mono inputs didn't work for me. Still same problem as before. The bell sense thresh will change the amount but as soon as I trigger the bell it snaps back to 75. i wonder if you could take a look to see if it functions like that for you still? thanks

It works here. Are you sure you updated the firmware?

I tried another pedal and it behaves the same.

That's how it's expected to work. A momentary pedal requires a press and release (two movements) to change the value. A latch type pedal only requires a press or release (one movement).
