I'm using a Ludwig 14" snare with a UFO Drums crossbar and L-Bracket mounted side piezo. I also bought their 3 ply head which I have a little more tension on than you would when using it acousticallly. It's very sensitive for drum rolls and works well with rimshot, sidestick and outer, mid center and center hits.

Can you please share your settings? I have the UFO crossbar dual trigger on a Mapex wooden snare with a Goedrums 3 ply head. Sensitivity, cross stick, and rimshots are good but my positional sensing is jumping all over the place. Even light taps on the outer edge jump from the outer to center position randomly with each hit.dsteinschneider wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 12:01 amI'm using a Ludwig 14" snare with a UFO Drums crossbar and L-Bracket mounted side piezo. I am using the latest Beta version of the eDRUMin controller software and have updated my firmware. So not sure why positional sensing is not working correctly.
Thanks.

It’s been established that positional sensing and hotspot suppression were designed based on a roland pad, expecting a DIY snare to work like one roland pad is not the case, I’ve tried many center trigger snares from ddt, gewa, drumtec, yamaha and none worked right so there I’ve said it…
