Re: CY-16-RT
Thank you very much, Rob! I'll get a chance to try it on Saturday, right before my show. I'll let you know the results

Re: CY-16-RT
The show was great thanks!
Unfortunately v2.3.0.15 didn't seem to make a difference to the problem I'm having, which is that the harder I hit the bell, the more chance there is of getting an edge crash instead of a bell note. One thing that helps is If I hold the edge of the cymbal to stop it vibrating when hitting the bell. This is in two-cable mode, but I tried one cable with 'bell sense' and had the same problem.
Is there other info I could send that would be helpful? I can record a video if you like.
Thanks

No need for a video, but send me a screenshot of your settings for one of the cymbals so I can try to reproduce the issue with my cy15.

Re: CY-16-RT
Here are my settings. The edge is using the same default curve (not independent).
ThanksRe: CY-16-RT
I've hit my CY15 as hard as possible with the heaviest stick I have, but still cannot reproduce this issue. A quick google search reveals that a lot of people are having issues with the CY-16R-T edge switch sensor. Before build 15, eDRUMin always gave priority to the edge switch. If both the bell and edge switch were triggered, it would ignore the bell switch. In build 15, I made a small change so that eDRUMin would compare the switches, and chose the one that was most activated. I could possibly do another build and have the eDRUMin ignore the edge switch if the bell switch is activated, but that might end up causing some false bell triggers.

Re: CY-16-RT
Thanks @Rob for the info and the test. Maybe the CY R-T's vibrate too much because of being so thin. Mine are both new, and have done this thing since day 1.
I would be very interested to try a version allowing the bell to take precedence over the edge. If that solves the problem for these cymbals, it would have real value for anyone who's ever in the same boat, to be able to choose the precedence (edge/bell/strongest)

Re: CY-16-RT
Hi, just a little update:
After replacing my CY-16R-Ts with CY-15Rs, the bells work perfectly for me too now.
CY-16R-T really does seem to be a bad design; the vibrations spread too easily between zones.
Thanks again!
