eDRUMin 1.6.2 BETA
Re: eDRUMin 1.6.2 BETA
I did make a small change in version 1.6.1 that might be affecting this, but ultimately the cause of the problem is that your thresh control is too low, or your rimshot range control needs to be adjusted.
Re: eDRUMin 1.6.2 BETA
Just checking in to report that I have not had a crash since 1.6.1.7. Whatever it is you did worked. Cheers.

Great. Thanks for confirming.
Re: eDRUMin 1.6.2 BETA
Hi Rob
My settings are below. I don't use cross-stick on this drum (BR-1 instead) hence the x-stick threshold is right down.
The only way I can get this false triggering to stop on 1.6.1 and 1.6.2 beta is to set the rimshot threshold so high that it's not playing rimshots at all.
With the same settings when I go back to 1.6.0.9 the problem's gone completely.
Re: eDRUMin 1.6.2 BETA
As I said, your thresh looks too low and you probably need to adjust your rimshot range control. The way you have it setup, I don't think you can even trigger a sidestick. I think you'll find your problem will go away once you make those changes.
Alternatively, stick to version 1.6.0.9. In that version there is a bit of a hack to prevent soft hits on the head from triggering sidestick. But the hack also prevents soft sidesticks from registering. It was removed in version 1.6.1 for a more accurate method of dealing with very soft hits.

Re: eDRUMin 1.6.2 BETA
Hi Rob
Sorry, I probably wasn't clear. I use a BR-1 for sidestick which is why the sidestick threshold is right down. I did try moving this around anyway but it didn't effect the sporadic rimshot triggers. I assume if I'm not using sidestick sensing there is no harm in setting the threshold to min?
In terms of the rimshot threshold - this is the vertical line? If I move it further to the right (create smaller green area) it makes it harder to trigger a rim shot and moving it to the left lowers the rimshot threshold making it easier to trigger a rimshot?
Even moving this as far to the right as possible and still making rimshots viable I get the sporadic rimshot issue on a hit on the newer FW.
I was hoping to move to newer FW as I've found 1.6.0.9 to be a bit buggy in other places, but will be sticking with it for a gig today. I'll try and experiment a bit more next week with the beta.

Re: eDRUMin 1.6.2 BETA
This is the threshold that is too low.
Can I see your settings for the BT-1?-

Re: eDRUMin 1.6.2 BETA
Crash report. I had just got done with switching a HH to HH levels. Then I started playing with app in background. Crash. I have not had a crash in a long time so I suspect it had something to do with the HH levels.
