Hi Rob, I was just playing around with setting up banks. I see there are three options with a pedal attached.
Is there only 1 option in the control app without a pedal attached? I can't figure out how to access the 3 without a pedal.
Also I noticed that if I am in dual mono mode that I can't change the bank for both of the dual mono inputs unless I do each separately. Perhaps there is a way to already do this (select multiple inputs)?
If not, I am wondering if there could be an option to change the bank for multiple inputs that one could select and save? So that when i switch banks they would only change for say inputs 1,3,5 both dual mono inputs if that is what I selected? thanks for any help, Mbira
PS: I realize that some of my requests may not be what most users would want, so I understand they may not be top priority. But sharing anyway because perhaps implementation might be simple, others might want these too, and /or there might already be a way to do what I want that you could enlighten me of.

Right now you can only change banks with a pedal or by sending program changes.

Totally not the most important thing, but it would be nice to use a virtual pedal in the GUI vs plugging one in. I have a Boss pedal that runs a battery when plugged in. So I 99% time leave it unplugged. I plug it in only when I need to change a note bank. I have so many ways to do something differently so this is really a nothing burger. Yet I still make a post clearly showing everyone how cheap I am (avoiding 9V battery replacement or buying a different pedal) and lazy I am (bending over to plug in a cable).

This is my first build--an early BETA. It's only for the brave. Save a device preset before you install because if you want to downgrade back to version 1.6, your device will be factory reset. There's no updated documentation yet. Use at own risk. Feel free to ask questions and recommend changes. I have my own questions below.

eDRUMin_Control_PC_2.0.0.0.zip
eDRUMin_Control_OSX_2.0.0.0.zip

New Features
Drum Maps / Drum Map Editor
Redesigned Pedal Input Interface
Improved Splash Triggering
Velocity Curve for pedal notes
MIDI Monitor
Record Assistant

Did your settings get updated correctly?
Does having 'Note Banks' and 'Drum Map Kit pieces' lead to confusion?
Does your hihat pedal perform better?
Is the out curve useful?

Hi Rob, Does your Redesigned Pedal Input Interface allow for just 1 of the dual mono inputs to be linked keeping the other mono input for a separate pad?

wow, ok! here we go.
so rolling up my sleeves, backing things up, and was downloading the latest manual for latest reference and noticed the cover page says v1.5 on it.

On a Mac, I noticed that after exporting device presets to the desktop, you can't immediately re-click on the highlighted preset line anywhere without re-exporting it. Like typically you can hover over the overwrite, export or delete icons/functions, but in this state there is no hover, it just only allows for a click (anywhere on the line) to do what turns out to be an export. Maybe it functions some other way if the 'overwrite' is performed first. Not a big glitch, just a bit weird.

I guess we'll just have to get intuitive about the new features, but if you have anything to add in writing (here) about 'how to', please do.
and thanks!

using 1.6.2.6, I was unable to save a User Pedal Preset. (on a Mac)
bug1
Steps: Selected the device (one of the two eDRUMin10's), then the pedal box (which is assigned to my HH) - Pedal Presets is showing, clicked New Preset, 'Save New Pedal Preset' box came up, entered the Title and Description, hit Save and the box went away.
Then nothing showed up in the User Presets.
tried it a few times, same results. quit and re-opened nothing showing up.

bug2
trying to save trigger presets other than 'Roland' 'drum' (which seems to be the default)
if I click new trigger preset, click on Yamaha and Cymbal boxes, enter a title and description, click Save - the preset will be saved as 'untitled'. the title is not saved, but the description is. If I edit that preset and save it, the title is saved.

I first noticed that I could not see some of the trigger presets that I'd saved, after clicking on the various filter folders - especially the Yamaha and Cymbals, under User, the actual Cymbal filter box showed "(3)' like there were 3 saved user 'Yamaha' 'cymbal' presets, but the listing was empty. I quit the app, re-opened, and at first the list did not appear and then did after clicking multiple filter boxes to kind of wake things up, the list of the three created trigger presets appeared under the correct filtering.

Also - not sure whether this matters - but the first time I couldn't find the trigger preset I had just created, I had first entered Title and Description, then clicked on the Yamaha and Cymbal boxes in the User Preset box to change from the default Roland and Drum descriptors. Not sure if the type descriptors need to be selected -before- the Title and Description entry...? might be worth testing.

Or...it may be that currently you need to have the Brand and Type of Filter preset Listing selected first, then create a New Preset while in that specific focus, for everything to show up. Otherwise if e.g. creating a Yamaha/Cymbal preset while in the Roland/Drum list view, things may not display/refresh properly. (?)
Summary: the trigger preset filter robustness needs some scrutiny

I have the same bug of not able to type in a new preset name if other than Roland. Description and author boxes do work though. Win 10. I was waiting for acknowledgement of my previous bug discovery to mention this second one, but since the previous post did I'll confirm it.

Is this where you want bugs reported?

Yeah, well...I HIGHLY recommend DON'T LOAD THIS up. I'm dead in the water. Mac version.

The Factory Reset does not work. There's currently no going back. It was an interesting look but the life preserver ain't available.
Tried to load up 1.6 again, also try to do a factory reset a few times, and it's still stuck on v2a graphics, and everything trigger-wise is coming out as a snare hit - i.e. from all triggers, even though each trigger graphic shows what was in v1.6.

btw it crashed when doing the firmware update on the 2nd eDRUMin10. I saved the text and will send that file to technical support.

We need a guaranteed RESET path to 1.6. ASAP, thx.
