Here's my FrankenKit.

Started as Yamaha DTX 452K in March this year. Only Yamaha left there is the rack and bass pedal.

16" floor tom, converted to bass. Using XM built in trigger mesh
High density mesh, similar to Drumtec Pro series.
Lemon Cymbals and Hi Hat.

How do i upload image? Seems like google photos or imgbb doesn't work.

What clutch are you using for the Lemon hihat cymbal?

yeah had the same issue. But I ended up with the stock clutch of the hihat stand (Clutch: Tama CL08/ Stand: Tama HH75W).

I can’t tell you the exact setup, because I don’t know for sure anymore, and don’t rehearse in the next week to double check it. So I tell you how I remember ended up with my configuration.

I removed both of the top nuts and 3D-printed a thin hugh washer nearly the diameter of the inner ring of the cymbal mount.
I first fitted a felt than the cymbal. You have to press fairly hard to fit the cymbal on the clutch, but it’s only rubber so don’t be shy.
Then I used a Roland rotation stopper (Roland CYM-10) and drilled the hole to fit the clutch.
I don’t know if I used one of the top nuts to counter it, or the standard counter nut.
It barely fits on the clutch, lengthwise, but it does fit.

I noticed that it losen itself a bit after a bit of playing, so the cymbal begins to rotate. Maybe a drop of loctite should do the trick.

This is a little shot of what I been a etti mg up with my rack in order to have my PC - well Mac actually - next to my kit. I only just got my ED4 - this is the first full day of use and already it’s a game changer!
It’s SO NICE to have PS on my snare and AMAZING to have an actual moving hi hat on a stand. Before that I was using the same millenium hi hat and stand but I was zip tying the pedal out the way, raising it up and putting the seperate alesis pedal underneath. That is no more! Thank god - well, thank Audiofront actually!

Anyway, I also put my A2E rack Tom of my kick instead of using an alesis pad.
It does actually feel like a real kit now, rather than some cramped up toy!
It’s also super nice to record and have differing velocity strikes lol

(Edit- looking at the image, you can see this is before I had set up the millenium ho hat pedal. You can see the alesis foot pedal there still. It’s also much tidier than This now!)

I guess this is how I’m working with it atm.

It’s a standard beginner kit from eBay converted with jobeky triggers.
Side triggers for The toms and a centre mounted bar style trigger for the snare and kick.
Jobeky heads too, I really like them actually, they feel high quality. I need to replace my Tom head at some point.

The cymbals are probably the thing that I don’t really like atm. I can’t really get them dialled in but then again they are really crap alesis cymbals. (They really hurt my wrists actually.) I think I’m going to do some low volume DIY wizardry at some point. One I’m done getting an ed10 lol

Haha it took me a while to realise what you meant there. You mean the bricks? They are blocks of dehydrated coconut husks. I use them to grow veg in when they been hydrated. They do look like bricks of heroin though your right!
That shits halarious, imagine how rock star that would be!
