I just downloaded and installed this (1.6.1.9 for OSX) but it's showing up as "Current firmware: 1.6.1.5"

is that right?

The last few updates have been for the app only. Mine is reporting .5 as well.

In version 1.6 the NoteOff message for the closed hihat pedal note was only sent when the pedal was released. This could result in closed pedal notes that were ridiculously long. In version 1.6.1 after 200ms have passed the note off message is sent even if you're still pressing down on the pedal.
This problem appears to be solved in 1.6.1.9 for the closed hi hat notes (though they are all now pretty long notes, but not ridiculously long). But the NoteOff messages for other drums is not always working - I've had it on kick and floor tom and snare on different kits and different libraries (Decades and Roots Sticks) using SD3. I don't recall it happening with other drums previously - only on hi hat close notes.

I just did a quick test, and didn't see any problems. If you see long notes again, can you give me a screenshot? Never mind, I see it on my snare. I'll investigate.

I investigated this today. The issue is that the noteOff message are occasionally not being sent of not being received. I'm see the issue in Cubase 8.5 on Windows 10. When I test in Logic Pro on my mac MINI, there are no issues. It's possible that Logic just handles missing noteOff messages more gracefully, or it could be that Windows has an issues buffer large amount of MIDI data. I'll test some other apps.

I'm not seeing an issue in Reaper or Live on Windows either.

I'm using logic. I'm not working on anything right now (finished a small project the other day and now have to take care of some other matters for a little while) but will try and find some time to give it a run so i can send some screen shots before i travel later this week

crash for 1.6.1.9. I was working on re-assigning notes, but it didn't happen literally then.
i.e. I just looked at the screen after playing and it had crashed.

I found a small issue in the hihat levels mode code. Had you opened the pedal editor at some point before the crash?
