Positional sensing compatibility on Alesis Strke Pro se pads?

Hi, I was just wondering whether the eDRUMin would be able to detect positional sensing on the Alesis Strike Pro Special Edition pads, which now have multiple cones (and possibly multiple piezos, not sure?). I've attached a picture that shows the internal construction of one the pads. I've ordered an eDRUMin to try and test it out (it's being shipped right now), but I just wanted to see if anyone has any experience trying this? Thanks!

I own the 14" Strike Pro tom pad, and can confirm that positional sensing does not work. It is all over the place. Since the snare has same internals, it will not work either.
