I upgraded my ED10 and ED4 to latest. I then reloaded the updated BT1 factory preset to pad. Linked it to snare pad. The BT1 says it is xtalk mode, but it must be in sensor mode. I have a large amount of cross talk between snare and BT-1. The snare and BT1 are on the ED4.Rob wrote: ↑Tue Aug 24, 2021 11:53 pmChanges in Build 8
- Fixed possible issue if BT-1 is in crosstalk mode but not properly linked.
- Updated BT-1 Factory Preset
- Added additional video links.

You've adjusted the xTalk control for the BT-1? Can you attach a screenshot of your settings for the BT-1?

Re: eDRUMin 1.6 BETA
I’ll do that tomorrow. When I first loaded the factory preset I think the xtalk was 15???? The xtalk for snare.
The BT1 most definitely is operating in sensor mode. I can barely tap it and I get a 5 to 10 velocity. There is no way I closed the switch. It’s in xtalk mode and linked to snare. I had initially thought you made some significant change to BT1 such that xtalk mode had the sensitivity of sensor mode.
But then when I started to play on snare I saw that I was getting a bunch of xtalk on BT1. So I shut off autoselect and only looked at BT1 pad. Looked like it cancelled light hits but not medium to heavy. So I bumped up the xtalk on BT1 to like 50 and only heavy hits creates xtalk. But I know from video you posted 15 should be the right amount.

Re: eDRUMin 1.6 BETA
I honestly didn't test on ED4, so I'll check to make sure I didn't miss something.

I reset the BT1 input and set it up once again from
Factory preset. Same issue.

Re: eDRUMin 1.6 BETA
Confirmed bug. The issue is that BT-1 crosstalk mode won't work if the linked pad is on input 1. Can you please confirm if your linked pad is connected to input 1? Assuming that indeed is the issue, then it's fixed for the next build.

Changes in Build 9
- Fixed BT-1 Crosstalk Mode issue when linked pad is input 1.
- Fixed bell sense and positional sensing not working on Dual Mono inputs.
- Fixed Windows installer creating invalid shortcuts if the path was changed from the default install location.

Re: eDRUMin 1.6 BETA
using Beta 1.6 b9, with Roland hardware, two eDRUMin10’s and SD3, I have two questions:
I have a question about tweaking for the lowest possible threshold for the BT-1 and PD-125 snare combo - using inputs 2&3. Using the Xtalk/Link mode - it works well. But…when using ‘lighter or lightest’ tapping on the BT-1, the eDRUMin app will register spikes in the THRESH box, but only trigger above some value amount - regardless - of changing both or either the xtalk setting (shown at 15 in attachment) down to ‘0’, or the THRESH (shown as 0.4) down to ‘0’. Am I missing some other parameter to adjust to try to get these lowest hits to trigger? Velocity curve doesn’t make a difference either, that I’ve noticed.
Also I noticed that I can’t link across two eDRUMin10’s for the BT-1 link. I have a 2nd BT-1 on one eDRUMin unit mounted and in tandem with a PD-125 tom that’s plugged into the other eDRUMin. I could swap around cables to get the other BT-1 to link with a PD-125, but wondering if you can change this in code, or if it’s a limitation of needing to be only within one eDRUMin. thanks!
