Ok, but still the notes won’t stick, I have to map everything again when changing banks

Re: eDRUMin 1.6 BETA
1. Select Bank 1.
2. Select SD3 map.
3. Click the ride icon.
4. Select Bank 2.
5. Select the SSD map.
6. Clip the ride icon.
This procedure works for me. If you are power cycling the device and it's not set to auto save, then make sure you hit save.

Re: eDRUMin 1.6 BETA
I just realized that you were trying to tell me that there is an error in the SSD5 drum map. I've now fixed the map for the ride. Edge is now set to note number 59 in the next build. Thank-you.
Re: eDRUMin 1.6 BETA
Hmm... You're saying that both the bank 1 and bank 3 indicators remain lit. If seems like the bank memory for that input might be corrupt. Do you think I could trouble you to make a preset for that pad, export it, and then email it to support at audiofront dot net?
Re: eDRUMin 1.6 BETA
That's great news--thanks for the feedback. I wonder how well it'll work with newer Yamaha cymbals.dsteinschneider wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 12:44 pmYes the positional sensing is working really well. It tracks even better than my UFO drums snare. I've checked the Superior Drummer midi view and see the incoming CC valuesRob wrote: ↑Mon Aug 09, 2021 1:49 amDoes the positional sensing on the eDRUMin side seem to track the position?dsteinschneider wrote: ↑Sun Aug 08, 2021 6:52 pmI turned on positional sensing for them but haven't spent time configuring that on the Superior Drummer side

Hi Rob.Rob wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 7:15 amHi Jacko,
Thanks for taking the time to test. I rally apreciate it. Comments in-line...
I just checked on my Mac MINI and it sees build 5 just fine. Perhaps you are confused because build 5 still uses firmware build 4.

I'm a little confused and I think it's because we're not clear on the difference between a 'pad type' and a 'preset'. I just tested with the Lemon 18" preset, and bell sensitivity was spot on.

The only CY-15 preset, is not for 2 inputs. Instead it uses Bell Sense. The Lemon 18" ride preset uses the Roland 3-Zone Cymbal 'Pad Type', so I'm think that perhaps you're confusing 'presets' and 'pad types' ? Nonetheless, Lemon Ride cymbals should definitely use the Roland 3-Zone pad type. I know there was some talk that they should be using the Metal 3-Zone pad type, but that is absolutely not correct.

That's too bad. It's probably something I could iron out if I had more of their cymbals to test with. Can you post a pic of the positional sensing settings you used for the Lemon?jacko wrote: ↑Tue Aug 10, 2021 6:00 amcould get it working on 2 out of the three, which suggests it's probably a QC issue on the third cymbal
the positional sensing is not (yet?) completely reliable with these cymbals - you kind of have to work around where the piezo is and it's mostly good but there is enough triggering of unwanted bow shanks to put me off.
Thanks for responding.
I'll try and send pics of the positional sensing settings in the next few days.
Re presets, pad types, and bell sensitivity on the Lemon 15" cymbals:
If I select the Lemon 18" preset, the pad type stays at 'Roland 3-Zone Cymbal' and the bell sensitivity is poor (poor to the point of not really being useable).
If I then select the Roland CY15R preset, then go back to the pad types (which as a result have changed from 'Roland 3-zone' to a two-zone pad type as you suggest) and change them back to 'Roland 3-Zone Cymbal', the bell sensitivity is fine.
This process is undoubtedly the wrong way around or something, but that's how it unfolds.
Thanks again.
Re: eDRUMin 1.6 BETA
Thank-you for clarification. This must be a bug of some sort. Which inputs are you using?
Re: eDRUMin 1.6 BETA
I think I found the bug.
Re: eDRUMin 1.6 BETA
Fixed. If the input that becomes the Bell input was in stereo mode and setup as a mesh pad, the switch sensitivity of the bell input was affected.
