You may want to check on in Mac OS changing the sizing of the window. I had occasion to do that yesterday. There was some strange display artifacts related to cymbal positional sensing. I don’t know how it is supposed to work when window is small, so I can’t tell you if there is an issue. I suggest you go from full size window to smaller and see what you think, and then make the window larger and larger until all of the icons return. Not a huge issue, but I thought I would mention it. I rarely shrink the window size, but last time I did I don’t remember seeing what I did.

Known issue with no known solution. It's a compromise for having a scalable UI.

Okay gotcha. It wasn’t an issue.

BTW- I went to bed last night after playing a bit on 1.6.0.1 thinking the positional sensing and bell sense was pretty good on my CY15. I wake up in the morning and there are two more builds! Hahaha. You rock.

PS is looking better on my ATVs. Still don’t have time to look at it hard but it looks promising.

So I stumbled across a “hidden” articulation in the Gospel EZX. For the several EZXs I have the only one I found that specifically listed a bow shank articulation was Progressive EZX. So I set up positional sensing to be a note instead of CC. Configured the bow shank to be closer to the bell. Worked very well, but I mostly play Gospel EZX. So I switched over to Gospel EZX and to my surprise the bow shank articulation was in the Gospel EZX even though not listed. So that was a pleasant surprise.

Minor display bug. With autoselect on the small number 1 (or 2) associated to cymbal positional sensing stay latched for any drum pad that does not positional sensing. For example when autoselect goes to my PD-125BK the number 1 goes away, but when autoselect goes to my PDX-8 or PDX-12 there is no positional sensing indication however the number 1 remains.

Hi Rob,

I upgraded to the 1.6 beta yesterday. I used PCY155's for my two crashes and ride cymbal. I've been using them for a while as 3 zone with Legends of Rock. I turned on positional sensing for them but haven't spent time configuring that on the Superior Drummer side. I'm posting just to mention that the cymbals are triggering better even with no configuration on the VST side. Especially the shank on the bell.
