From the comments: "The e-strainer is sending out 2 stereo signal. You can connect one stereo signal to the snare input and the other on the aux input."

So if I'm understanding this correctly, this snare has two outputs, and you're switching between them?
So that would occupy two inputs on the eDrumIn, and you would still have the Bottom Snare Mic bleed issue.

Seems so, but a neat simple solution idea to mimic an acoustic snare setup.

I'm yet to try the dual switch in one idea; sending a midi command along with a bank change.

It feels like a software implementation might be the best approach, as there must be other use cases.

Rob, would this be possible to try in the beta please?
