Re: eDRUMin 1.5 BETA now available
So I just received my ED4 in the mail to go along with my ED10. I was so excited I plugged it in right away and updated firmware. After I updated firmware to latest beta I plugged it into a powered hub which is connected to the USB Host port of ED10. Cool to see an ED10 and ED4 on the app. One thing I noticed in my quick look at new tool was the red bar under the black ED10 was always there, but when I selected the red ED4 it would have a red bar under the icon (I assume indicating I selected the device), and when I selected the ED10 the red bar would disappear under the ED4. The red bar never disappeared from under the ED10.

That's expected behavior. The ED10 is the selected device and you are accessing one of its children.

crash report. The app was behind the scenes and I was opening EZD2 in ableton at the time.

Added SSD5 drum map, plus mappings for percussion instruments on some of the other maps. I also fixed an issue with the thresh settings when loading presets saved from an ED10 and loaded on an ED4.

A similar crash was reported a couple of months ago. I thought I had fixed it but I'll have to take another look. Thanks.Dadwrshpdrum wrote: ↑Mon Jun 21, 2021 10:57 pmcrash report. The app was behind the scenes and I was opening EZD2 in ableton at the time.

Crash log very clearly points to an issue in the eDRUMin app. I'll take a look.

Re: eDRUMin 1.5 BETA now available
I suspect this is an abelton issue, but reporting here just in case. I was running Abelton 10 live lite with three midi tracks (all eDRUMin tracks). Playing like normal no issues but then I lost drum audio suddenly. I had focuriste control open at the time, with abelton and eDRUMin in the background. I checked the eDRUMin app and my hits were still registering. Appeared like no issues. Looked at abelton expecting to see a crash report. But it appeared to be running like normal. The EZD2 (active track) and SSD5 (audio off) showed no audio, and I did not see any indication of incoming midi. I checked and eDRUMin was still the source. The CPU counter in the top right was updating and doing things as I was hitting the pads.
I then checked my Slave Td-17 module to see if it was receiving midi from USB Host port. It was and had no issues.
Next I restarted abelton and it started working again. Hence I suspect abelton was the culprit.
