Trouble Updating Firmware

I have the edrumin 10 and tried to upgrade the firmware using the section within the software but it gets hung up with the “waiting...” message and no amount of waiting seems to solve it. How should I proceed?

You're updating to version 1.4?

Yes. Using direct usb. Not a hub.

Any luck? Have you tried power cycling the unit? I'm not seeing the issue here, but I did make a small change recently that could be effecting this. I'll need to investigate.

Tried power cycling multiple times. No dice. Is there a alternative updating method?

I'm not seeing issues here nor from others in the BETA thread. How is your ED10 connected to your computer?

Please try with build 31. If it fails to update, close the app and reopen it. This will cause a file called MEC_log.txt to be copied to your desktop. Email it to support at audiofront dot net and I'll take a look.
