Re: E-drum Accessory Of The Year
Thanks guys. I heard this morning but I didn't think the information would be public until the 1st. It's the result of a lot of hard work from myself and the many users that make valuable suggestions, help test new features, and find bugs.
Re: E-drum Accessory Of The Year
Congratulations. Well deserved. But for me it is far more than an “accessory”!
Re: E-drum Accessory Of The Year
Way more than an accessory! It's the brains of my system!
Congrats, Rob. Hard work truly acknowledged and rewarded.
Really happy for you, buddy.

Somehow missed this thread and started a duplicate - just edited it to point to this one.
Agree that it's much more than an accessory!

Well deserved. One of the few products that I can say exceeded my expectations!

Mine too! And it continues to improve with each firmware. Thanks, Rob, and we appreciate all your hard work!gkurtenbach wrote:Well deserved. One of the few products that I can say exceeded my expectations!
Re: E-drum Accessory Of The Year
Yes well deserved! eDrumIn is absolutely brilliant for DIY A2E with VSTs
I made a DIY E-kit years ago with an Alesis Trigger IO and BFD 1. I abandoned it because of my frustrations with double triggers and reliability.
This is a game changer. I've managed to recreate my acoustic kit as an electronic during lockdown and most of the time it feels like I'm playing my acoustic especially after tweaking the expression curves and using less gain. I'm using DIY triggers on a Tama Club Jam Kit with Roland Cymbals and sending the midi to Reaper with SSD5.5

BTW, "Accessory" is the wrong category. That's a joke. It's not an accessory. How about "Must have"?
