Maximum voltage at pedal input

Post by flaphead »

Hi,
I've seen in the manual that the voltage at the pedal inputs should not go above 3.3V. I currently have the externally powered HH-Controller from my Fame DD-One attached, and noticed that the ED10 doesn't boot properly while it's running (Device is not detected by computer). I have to power-off the HH controller to boot the ED10, then power the HH.

Then I measured the output of the HH and found the following results:
Tip to Sleeve: 0.0 - 4.1V

So I wonder, is it safe to operate this HH controller?

[Edit: Measurement error]

I don't think it's a good idea to use it. The fact that the eDRUMin doesn't boot properly when it's connected is not a good sign.
