I'm sure I'm not the only who's spent an entire evening happily tweaking curves and sliders and note assignments, only to realize at the end of the night that instead of making progress, I've been making things steadily worse than they were before. It would be great to be able to save a snapshot of all the settings in the device, and be able to revert back to that at any given time.
This is is not the same as saving and reloading presets. First of all, this obviously wouldn't be "shareable" because we all have very different trigger setups, and second, presets do not necessarily reflect the current user configuration. Not to mention that restoring each trigger setting individually would be quite a hassle.
I have no idea how involved this would be, but I've found myself on multiple occasions wishing I could just revert back to a previous state.

Re: Feature request: device snapshot
This feature has been requested a few times over the past year. And I while I fully intend to implement it, it's my guess that I won't be able to get to it until version 1.6 or so.
