Definitely sounds like a bug. I'll look into it.dsteinschneider wrote:I'm not positive this is a bug. After you upgrade the hi-hat pedal displayd the correct SD3 notes I've been using for pedal close (21) and splash (23) but when I played it triggered note 52 the splash. I fiddled with things for a bit and thought check the other banks. The other banks were set to 52 for the Splash. I changed the Splash in each bank back to 23 and all is well.

This is an issue if you're using a hall sensor. Should be an easy fix. Thanks.

Thanks. Not entirely sure how it could crash there. I've made a change that I doubt fixed this issue. Is it possible this crash occurred on closing the app?monospace wrote:Got a random crash while I was away from the computer/drumkit, so not sure what caused it. Crash report attached.

You might not get one on Windows. I tried very quickly to reproduce but couldn't. Do you remember any details--specifically pad type, input type?gkurtenbach wrote: I had a crash too on saving a preset. How do I get a crash report?

Re: eDRUMin version 1.4 BETA now available
So I have two possible bugs to report.
First, with auto select on I can only switch to a new pad when hitting the head. Does not switch to the new pad when I hit the edge. I came across this as I was checking edge sense setting between similar pads. I had to hit the head first for auto select to switch to the pad I was trying to compare to.
Second, I hit the snare pad to select it. Then I shut off auto select because I wanted to play a bit while watching the snare pad for hotspots suppression and velocity. However, after a few seconds of the beat the display switches to the HH pad.

No, I was away from the computer for a short while, with the Control App left open. Regular screen, no pedal editors.Rob wrote:Thanks. Not entirely sure how it could crash there. I’ve noticed similar behavior with Auto Select, specifically it switching to other pads after I turned it off. In my case those other pads were cymbals, which may be related to the bow/edge/rim behavior observed above.Dadwrshpdrum wrote:So I have two possible bugs to report.

This is likely the same bug, The issue is that the selected input is changing when the the selected articulation of an input is changing. Fixed for build 6.Dadwrshpdrum wrote:So I have two possible bugs to report.

I would just like to say how much I appreciate the new Independent Curves. I've found that often, on Roland cymbals, the edge sensor is significantly weaker than the bow piezo, and being able to tweak my curves as illustrated in these screen shots gives me a much more pleasing, natural response than simply using the Edge Scaler.

Changes in build 7
- New pedal sensing method to improve reliability (should resolve issue with VH-12).
- Fixed an issue with selected input changing even when autoselect is off.
- Fixed an issue with default hihat note bank value when updating from version 1.3.
- Changed the default hihat pedal calibration to work better with VH-10/12/13.
