Yep, it's noticeably snappier.

Still love being able to update both my devices without having to fiddle with cables.

Great to hear. I feel the same way. I was getting so annoyed with plugging and unplugging cables. It was a couple of days work, but definitely worth it.

Wishlist item: offline mode.

I think I've mentioned this before, but I think it could be really useful to have some kind of "offline mode", that is, a way to edit or view settings without an actual module attached. This could be useful to load and save presets for example, or edit MIDI banks, or for what I'm trying to do right now: create some new kits in SD3 while sitting on the couch with my laptop, and making sure my MIDI notes match what's in the module.

(Maybe it could be just a "read only" mode, as it would obviously be tricky to edit settings in the Control App and expect them to be applied when the module is re-connected.)

Loading and saving presets is something I have thought about for a while now. I never brought it up because I wasn't sure how it would be implemented. Drum modules (like the Rolands) allow as many as 100 drum kits to be selected by the user. This concept is similar to the four Note Banks in the eDRUMin, except, with drum modules, each successive kit represents a change in instrument or instrument voice, not necessarily midi note. The eDRUMin note bank calls up the next set of midi notes which then point to different instruments within the same external VST kit (e.g., SD3). I suppose the eDRUMin note bank could point to a different kit loaded in memory via different MIDI channel. If I call up a new drum kit in SD3, the midi notes (and instrument articulations) may not match up with the current eDRUMin note bank, so I am stuck with remapping eDRUMin, changing notes in the VST, or dedicating a note banks to a different VST kit. eDRUMin makes that easy, but for four kits maximum.

The present could be as simple as a text file (plain, CSV, xml, etc). Obviously, a standalone "preset editor" could reduce user error, but the present could be simply created by entering values in a Notepad text document to be loaded by eDRUMin.

Version 1.3.2.19

I have a two button switch pedal setup like the following:

It is my understanding that it should only be changing the selected bank on input 10. But it is changing the selected bank for all inputs.

I do have input 10 split if that matters. Here is a screenshot:

I think the desired outcome is both pads connected to input 10 to switch banks and leave all others alone. But I can see where this will lead to the question: can I switch banks for just pad A when an input is split?

(See video in next post)

The switching also seems to affect the device plugged into the host port because input 1 on the hosted device changes as well.

Here is a short 2:48 minute video of what I’ve seen: https://youtu.be/VaNtGOlGqzU

Fixed for version 1.4. Also, Mylo, unfortunately at this time there is no way to specify which bank of a dual mono input (tip or ring) to change, so they are both changed.

Not a problem. A feature like that didn’t cross my mind until today. I figure someone will ask for it eventually. Put in on the Backlog. :D

Is 1.4 beta out soon? This bug, while definitely not a show stopper is harshing my mellow. :D
