eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
Another one for the wish list: ability to load and save velocity curves, as well as some factory presets for those. I know they’re easy enough to draw, but it would still be a neat little timesaver.

Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
More wish list: in a similar way that the Curves panel now shows the outgoing Velocity level, would it be possible to display the outgoing CC# and value as well? This would be a great aid in troubleshooting hihat and PS issues.
Edit: I realize that the Pedal tab already shows the CC value for the hihat, but maybe outgoing values could be consolidated on the display somewhere. Much like the MIDI monitor in SD3, but, you know, from the other direction.

Wishlist:
Is there any way to have a 'diagnostics' page that can show the actual voltages incoming from triggers please?
Piezos misbehaving, failing or placement being off is a common issue for us DIYers, and seeing what eDRUMin is actually receiving would really help diagnose where things are going awry.
Also, in case it's missed as it wasn't included on Rob's original wish list for 1.4, the UI indicator on the velocity curve please.

Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
That's what the VU meters show.

Right.. Of course!Rob wrote:That's what the VU meters show.
In which case, I think I have found a bug with the current beta: really low volume snare head hits are triggering the sidestick, as (I think) the shell noise is now being misinterpreted with it. This is a new problem, as historically it worked flawlessly and nothing has changed in my setup other than an eDRUMin upgrade, however I'm aware that potentially I could have a failing piezo.
Am I a, able to downgrade to a previous build to compare (what's the process for this?), and b, able to send you some data showing what's going on please (again, what's the process for this?)
Thanks!
Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
For really low velocity hits, it's hard to distinguish a signal from noise and that leads to difficulties in determining if an impact was on the rim or on the head. eDRUMin uses the thresh control to help separate the signal from noise. You might find that lowering your thresh as much as possible helps in this regard.
Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
Changes in build 7
- Updated graphics library.
- Fixed UI performance issues on macOS.
- Fixed a hihat CC issue related to using expression curve.
- Fixed a crash when unlinking and then relinking hihat.
- MIDI Channel now properly follows setting in note banks.
Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
Bought a mac with M1 chip, couldn’t resist... Happy to report that the edrumin works perfectly, I installed the latest beta on this mac and all went smooth as usual.
Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
Thanks for the feedback.
Re: eDRUMin version 1.3.2 BETA
Minor bug in current version (build 7) : Auto-select doesn’t switch between triggers on ED10 and ED4. Works fine if you start with a trigger on the ED4 and then play one connected to the ED10, but not the other way around.
