Update to macOS Big Sur?

Post by alder »

So Big Sur (macOS 11) is out of the box.

Safe to update in terms of eDRUMin working?

I'm still developing on Mohave! As eDRUMin is class compliant, I'm sure the hardware will run fine, but you never know. If you do update, but sure to let us know how it goes.

I’m in no hurry, just wanted to check. Some updates seem to require very little from developers in order for their apps to work.

That's funny. They should require no changes!

I put Big Sur on an external drive and everything seems in order.

I managed to compile the Control Application on Big Sur, so next build should come with Apple silicon optimizations.
