I have a very simple DIY hihat pedal, it works with a simple reed switch on a Hihat stand. I only need an 'open' or 'closed' signal.
This worked fine with my Roland Module, but I cannot get the foot chick to work with eDRUMin. It simply never registers a hit.
As you can see in the link, the cc value goes form 0 to 127 instantly and the note blinks yellow, but there is no hit (little white dot). Also, when I monitor incoming MIDI on my PC, I see no MIDI notes from the pedal.
Is this a bug or am I missing something?
If got Xtalk on the lowest setting, chick sensitivity on '1' and gain on '100'

Any ideas?

Re: hihat pedal foot chick missing hits
Have a good read through the manual, and look at the gain / travel settings. It’s the speed which it changes from 0-127 that causes the foot chick, not the value itself.

Yes, I know, that's why I said it goes from 0 to 127 instantly, so this is the highest possible speed.

Solved - apparently, my drumsoftware can generate the hit from the cc data. Works perfect now.
