Can you make sure your hihat is still linked to the hihat trigger input?

I checked here and it's fine. I've posted build 15 today. It fixes a significant issue where some settings for the pedal inputs were being saved in the wrong place. If your pedal became unliked, that might be the reason.

Hi Rob,

What's the difference between stand and pedal in the new clutch settings?

Yeah, that was it... Not sure how it became unlinked, but all sorted now. Thanks.

Not Rob, but 'stand' is for the 2 piece high hats where it detects the 2 hitting together to register a close.

Pretty much anything else, including the stand mounted VH11 type controllers, are currently classed as 'pedal'.

I had to rebuy SD3 to see what all the fuzz was about and I can confirm that the stepping fix and the send cc only when hit settings work like a charm! Man, I can now play chicks at fast tempos and nothing else than a clean chick triggers, splashes work pretty good too, you can see in the midi monitor that when you check the send cc only when hit effectively the only articulation triggered is closed pedal, awesome. Before, the only way to get clean chicks was to deactivate the open pedal articulation sacrificing foot splashes but now everything is triggered where it should be, thanks Rob!

just to report a layout issue in the updated manual regarding the advanced hihat options on page 29, the image covers the text and it's not showing up, just a transparent rectangle.

The manual is also either missing a header for “Always Send On Close” or this feature isn’t covered at all in the manual.

I think the paragraph that starts with “In normal operation, ...” seems to be talking about “Always Send On Close” so maybe it is just the header missing.

Also... I feel like the word “pad” is used ambiguously and some explanations don’t make sense. For example, the first sentence in the Edge Sense section:

“When the Input Mode is set to ‘Mono’ or ‘Dual Input’, and the Pad Type is a pad, Edge Sense becomes visible.”

“Pad Type is a pad” confuses me. Aren’t they all “pads”? Or do you mean the ones that actually have “pad” in the title of the Pad Type like “Rubber Pad”

I stumbled across this trying to answer a question on Edge Sense and when it actually becomes available.
