Tried this on my VH-10.
I can no longer reliably trigger a splash, or a chick. If I do manage it's barely audible.
Adjusting the splash sensitivity doesn't do anything for me.
Pedal or stand mode made no difference.

That's surprising because I tested with both VH-10 and VH-13 as well as an FD-8. You 'linked' the hihat pedal to the hihat trigger input?

And as I said, the default settings aren't set properly for the BETA yet. You should go to the stand mode and double click each control set the default values.

My hihat cymbal was plugged into input #1, and the control app showed the hihat icon there when I first started it. Rolling over the Link button however showed that it was not linked. Couldn't get it to link or unlink even after repeatedly clicking the icon.

Plugged the HH cymbal into input 8, and was able to link. Still no splash though. Doesn't even register in the note control box. None of the rotary controls seem to have any effect for me.

The new checkboxes seem to work, but they make the pedal sound unnatural to me. But I get that it was a forum request, so I'll just leave those alone.

(Appreciate the downgrade option though, as I was able to dial in a perfect chick/splash in 1.2 just using the Travel slider.)

I reset everything to default by double-clicking. The only notable difference is that I now get a crazy loud chick, but still no splash.

Ya, I'm seeing some issues yet. Better wait for another couple of days.

Warning... unsolicited advice coming...

I appreciate the effort you are putting in but it might be time to slow down a little and let us catch up. I’ve experienced issues with downgrading myself with the 1.2 beta. I also think when restoring a user preset the notes are being set to 0. I need time to recreate the steps and report it. Also in 1.2 with auto select on, if I don’t hit the pad hard enough the UI doesn’t quite update completely. Again I need to recreate it and report it.

Also, I like the hi-hat work but man it feels like it is getting complicated. One of the best qualities of the eDRUMin is it’s ease of use. But it is getting harder and harder to digest setting it up. Last thing we want is another MegaDrum. :D

Hi Rob,

I'm interested in putting some time into hi-hat testing. Can I use my ED4 for this testing?
