Nothing to add much around here, except these few items:

- HXM 12" single zone cymbal (looks the same as the ones with the new Drumit3).
- HXM 8" triple zone rubber pad. It is basically a copy of the TP Yamaha pads, with the two side zones being switches.

- FSR based HH, DIY. No need for a resistor or anything else, just wire the two leads to a TRS plug. Calibrate with eDRUMin.

ATV 10" Pads from th eXS-3 work (also with Edge Sense) very well.

ATV 12" and 14" Cymbals also.

YES. on the 12" it works very well with the CY-8 Setting.
No chance with the 14".

drumtec Diabolo Hand Hammered 13" Snare Pad works 100%, with Positional Sensing.

Is there also a list of officially supported devices?

Anyway, this is what I've been using:

Roland VH-10 hihat
Roland CY-15R ride with Bell Sense (1 cable)
Roland CY-13RC crash/ride with Bell Sense (1 cable)
Roland PD-120 used as snare, hit/sidestick/rimshot, positional sensing works.
Miscellaneous Roland triggers. ED-10 + ED-4. MacBook Pro (2015), 16G RAM, Big Sur. Superior Drummer 3. Logic Pro.

I consider devices listed in the manual as officially supported. The ones Rob has actually tested with and says they work. The CY-15R and CY-13RC are listed in the manual I think but the added information of Bell Sense working is good information for people.

I think he's possibly refering to devices plugged into the USB host port.

That would be a different list if true. Unless we repurpose this list. My intent for this list is pads, cymbals, triggers or whatever plugged into the front inputs or controller inputs. The USB host port feels like a different animal.
