NFUZD compatible?

Curious if NFUZD drum and cymbal pads with 1/8" to 1/4" jack adaptors will work with edrumin. Any insights would be appreciated - thank you

If those work with either a Roland or a Yamaha module, they'll work with an eDRUMin.

I was doing some research on these and I get the feeling they won’t be compatible without work. They seem very proprietary. I saw words like 4-pole 3.5mm (TRRS) plugs. And this is on their forum: http://nfuzdaudio.com/us/support/forum/ ... and-solved!!!/

In the quick start manual it shows 4-pole 3.5mm cabling. I haven’t seen anything about how they’re wired. Someone mentioned they work with Yamaha modules that support the 3-zone pads.

Let us know if you have any success. NFUZD has a cool idea there but they made some interesting decisions in implementation trying to keep you locked in.

I actually have the opportunity to buy a full used set of Nfuzed drums from a friend. Brain, cymbals, high-hat, 10", 12", 14", 16" and kick pads - all for $250. I may just offer him $200 - with the original USB stick and I think an extra brain (bc the display went out).
I am on the fence bc Nfuzd is dead and I thought not compatible with anything.
I was about to buy it anyway a few weeks back when someone on FB suggested eDrumin. I wondered if they would be compatible in anyway.
I have some reading to do -

Has anyone gone ahead and taken the plunge? My actual goal is to have something to trigger low volume brass cymbals. It looks like eDrumin is the only thing out there with enough control to actually do that....

You'll need the cable adapter mentioned in DigitalDrummer, then, select the Yamaha pads.

Should trigger just fine as Alan was able to use a pad on a Roland module.
