I've done the quite unusual (or not unusual) method of assigning a cymbal to the sidestick note of a pad, using edge sense. Works great so far, the only issue I have is that the note comes out really quiet, although I'm thrashing the rim of the pad.
Therefore I wondered if it would be possible to adjust the velocity curve of the sidestick note (and also for e.g. bow, edge, bell on cymbals)?
I know that I can just increase the velocity after recording some MIDI notes, but when playing I would love to have the sidestick note more audible, especially when abusing it to be a cymbal.
I have no technical background whatsoever, so if this is totally out of scope, it's okay of course.
Thanks for reading!
Cheers

Have you adjusted the xstick scaler?

Jeez, now I feel like a dum-dum for not reading the manual thoroughly. Awesome, thanks!

BTW: not unusual at all. one of the possible perks of E-Drumming to have China Cymbal, a splash and a Cowbell on the toms
