Your setup is eDRUMin -> MPS -> EZDrummer? Have you tried without the MPS in the mix? Here are some things I would test to diagnose the issue:

1. Try without the MPS in the signal chain. (this would let you confirm that the MPS is not the source of the problem)
2. If you have positional sensing enabled, disable it. (perhaps the MPS doesn't know how to react when is sees positional CC messages.
3. Increase the audio sample buffers for you audio interface and see it the glitches go away.

Hi Rob,

no, its connected via usb.
its like the edrumin recieves a lot of trigger signals und
the samples are repeating fast. Its the same behavior going fromthe
Edrumin via midi to the MPS-850 module... Hmmm.

I will record it for you and check the midi monitor... It connected to alesis, medeli, fame pad, that has these for foam rods and in between the piezo on a plastic plate. But how I trigger should not be relevant?

Best regards, and thanks a lot for your help.

Have you looked at what's going on in the eDRUMin control application?

Yes. What are common scan times und hold times?
I think the effect is changing, when changing those settings.

I think I know what's causing that issue. Scantime should be about 2.5 ms, and hold time about 10ms. Can you see if playing with the thresh makes a difference?

Hi Rob, here is the screenshot and the MIDI file. It double triggers sometimes.
Is it the double peak?
No, he the transient shows sometimes broad peak and it throws 2 Note On / Off Messages, as well.

The THRESH setting doesnt change the results.

The Kick is fine. Here the transient looks narrow.
Damn, maybe it cant handle the Millenuim Pads, which are actually Alesis Mesh Pads  .
Maybe some rewiring, electritical tweaking (resistor, whatever) could help?
Aww, thats annoying.
Yeah, I tested the foot controller input first. And only very shortly. Thats why I'm recognizing this problem a bit late.

Bet regards

Are you sure you are you using the latest version of the firmware? I made an adjustment in the last update that addressed an issue like that. What exact version number of the firmware are you using? You can see it by clicking on the firmware update icon in the bottom left hand corner of the UI.

The pads should work just fine, but it's possible that I need to make more adjustments. If that's the case you are going to need to hang on for a week or two as I'm in the middle of adding new features. At any rate, make sure you are really using the latest version of the firmware.

Hi Rob,

the Firmware is the latest.

I did a factory reset und unpluged the MIDI cable, but it's still the problem.
