3 Cone Pads

Does the edrumin support 3 cone pads? If not are there plans to add support? Any chance of supporting the 3 rim cone and one central cone pad with positional sensing like the new roland digital pad? That would be dreamy.

I been thinking the same thing since seeing joshuas' teensy based 4 cone DIY snare build ( https://www.vdrums.com/forum/advanced/d ... ired-build.

At some point this approach will enter the DIY space.

Very interesting thread. For a pad like that, the processing needs to be on board. eDRUMin is also based on a Teensy 3.2 design. Seems like Joshua and I should be working together.

That is the thread that got me interested in this. So since the processing is done on board a firmware update would not be possible. A collaboration with this guy would be great. You could make an add in for drums that is tunable based on piezo variations. I’d buy one in a heart beat.
