Feature Request: Adjustable Smoothing

Post by puremusic »

I'd like to request that the amount of smoothing applied to a pedal be adjustable using a slider. :)

That'd be great!

It'd be great too if that slider could be adjusted too by being assigned to another pedal, but I don't want to ask too much!

Others have requested this feature too. I can't promise when, but I'm planning to implement it. Being able to use pedals to adjust other parameters in the software is something I've been thinking about it too. That however is a much larger request, so I wouldn't hold your breath.

Thanks Rob for the reply!

I can see adjustable smoothing being really useful in a lot of situations depending on the virtual instruments! You've a fine product here!

I love anything that can fine tune and give me some extra expressiveness for MIDI instruments. I have a Hot Hand USB, a Leap Motion with Geco software control, and my new keyboard an FP-90, the key expressiveness is wonderful with the triple sensors. The more varieties of expression a controller can give you the more fun it is.

I just started experimenting with that note mode on MIDI Expression, it's a lot of fun!

Thanks for letting me know, I'll check here back to look for it unless you have an updates mailing list? :)

I'm really hoping to use foot pedals more than mod wheels in the future, I like having my left hand free to play the keys too. Products like this give me hope!

I fully agree, ME is also a gamechanger to me - such a great enabling product, and for me as well 'adjustable smoothing' is my #1 feature request for a future update :-)
