Hard to say what the issue is, but I suspect the snapshot you are loading has your pedal input saved as a hihat.
Ah yes - this is exactly the problem. Thanks. I had not yet explored selective preset loading - very cool feature.
I suppose it would be easy enough to the flash preset change message to propagate to any devices connected to the host port.
With my two connected ED10s, I have not worked to group triggers in a sensible way other than physical proximity (to limit cable distances). So when trying to configure preset switching, I will like to switch presets across both modules (hopefully) with a single foot action. Looking forward to see if you can figure something out.

Thanks as always!

Hi Rob, long time user of the ED10r1,

I still have a dream of being able to send a midi control message simultaneously with an internal bank change; is this now possible with 2.3.2?

Use case: switch toggles internal bank to snare off note, AND also sends control message to toggle mute on snare bottom bleed in SD3, so the toms/kick reflect the snare off change.

Loads of other potential, e.g. switch bank to different drum sounds and increase reverb, or anything really!

This seems like it should all be possible within the software..?

Yes, but probably not in the way you were expecting. What you are able to do is use a switch to load a device snapshot (saved on a USB flash drive connected to the host port), and that snapshot can in turn also send a PC or CC message upon loading. Furthermore that device snapshot can target a single input on your eDRUMin, giving you a lot of flexibility.

I posted build 31.
  • Fixed saving a new device snapshot after overwriting an older device snapshot would result in the new snapshot using the load options from the overwritten snapshot.
  • Fixed issue exporting pedal preset.
  • Fixed issue launching on Linux.
  • Fixed issue calibrating threshold.
