These questions may sound stupid and I think I know the answer already but I need confirmation, the edrumin 4, does it require a computer and the software to alway be running to work or can I plug it directly into my drum module to work?
My issue is I have the Alesis nitro pro and find the hi hat controller is not getting the half open sound all that well. It's a very small gap. Am i able to program the edrumin to make the sweet spot larger and then just simply plug it into my nitro pro module to have it work?

It doesn't look like the Nitro Pro has MIDI input. so if you wanted to trigger sounds on the Nitro, then eDRUMin is not going to work for you. If you were looking to trigger sounds on a computer, then if would work just fine.
