Hello, everyone. How are you?
I have a Roland VH13 that I'm struggling to configure correctly on Edrumin using EzDrummer as the VST.
I've been trying to set it up for quite some time, but I haven't been successful.
Basically, my hi-hat keeps triggering constantly on Edrumin. I've already adjusted the pedal spring and the cymbal height (to check if it was accidentally activating the pedal sensor), and I even switched cymbals (I was using a Lemon 12 hi-hat), but I still have the same issue.
In addition to the unwanted triggering, the foot splash doesn't work (I believe it's related to the bigger issue mentioned above).
I recorded the video below to give more visibility to the issue (apologies for the mistakes in my English as it's not my native language):

Could you help me configure it correctly?
Edrumin + EzDrummer + VH13 Issues
Re: Edrumin + EzDrummer + VH13 Issues
Those pedal presets are probably out of date and are ultimately responsible for the issue. Reset the pedal input and make sure the polarity is set to 'Roland' and not 'auto' like it currently is (which it should be after you have reset the pedal input). I'll update those presets for the next update.

Hello, sir!
I had already done this reset in a previous attempt.
I did it again, but the issue persists.
I made the video below to better illustrate the situation:
Note: I mentioned the pedal sensor, but I actually meant the HH control output on the bottom cymbal of the VH13.

1. Can you give me a screenshot of your firmware page.
2. Can you press the pedal during your calibration so I can see how the eDRUMin responds.
3. Can you check if the issue persists on the first pedal input?

3. I recorded the video above using my other Edrumin (edrumin 4) and the issue persists.

Note: I just downgraded to version 2.3.1.16 to match the 'latest firmware,' but the issue still persists.
Re: Edrumin + EzDrummer + VH13 Issues
If you have two separate devices and they both experiencing the same issue there's a good chance there's a problem with your hi-hat and not the devices.
I don't recall there being any issues with the high hat with that version, but it wouldn't hurt to try to update the latest version to see if that fixes the problem. Maybe just try it on one of your devices first.

Re: Edrumin + EzDrummer + VH13 Issues
When you changed the ED10 to the ED4, did you use the same cable on the VH13?
I see a lot of jitter, and whenever I have an issue with something, the first thing I check is the cable.
Especially if you changed the eDRUMin units but if you didn't change the cable, I would suspect the cable to be the problem.
How about taking one cable from your kit, for example the snare cable if you feel the snare works great, and use that to connect your VH13.
See if it is ok now.
If the problem is still there, it could be a loose jack connection on the VH13.

You are absolutely right, sir!
I was using Alesis stereo cable and looks like that it not sending enough energy/signal to Edrumin.
I changed to a handmade p10 stereo cable and worked pretty well.
Thank you for your support.
