Newbie - general advice on edrum conversion

Post by iainp999 »

Hi all,

I have a Tama Club Jam that doesn't really get much use, and I am giving serious thought to fitting triggers and using it with my edrumin.

I've never tackled this before, so looking for any hints and tips that might help?

I'd prefer not to drill holes if possible, so looking at something like a Drum-Tec Groove Bar https://www.drum-tec.co.uk/drum-tec-groovebar-kick.

Any advice appreciated!

(FWIW I already have a drum-tec snare, so no work needed in that area - it'd be kick, high tom, floor tom).
