issues ED4R4 on EDC 2.3.1.35

Post by TOP »

hi.. its been a while tho..
last night i found somethin odds on my EDC display.. i got 2 ED4R4 connected to ED8 via usb hub, im still on EDC 2.3.1.35 since it still fulfill my needs n stable.. until last night one of my crash (i had 3 crash, 1 splash, 1 ride n 1 china attached FYI) not able to chocke, when i see EDC display.. seems like the configuration of two ED4R4 was messy mixed up...dunno why... so i had to do factory reset for each one of them.. but it still cant solve unchocking issue i had...
Anyone kind enough to teach how to solve it? thanks in advance

The crash that's unable to choke, is it able to trigger the edge articulation?

When you have it selected in the control application and you pinch the edge, do you see the AT control light up?

It sounds like the problem is in SD3. You can check the midi monitor for the ED8 in the control application to confirm that it's sending the aftertouch messages.

Without screenshots to see what you mean, I couldn't really say. I suspect it's simply a display issue. If that ever happens again, power cycle the ED8 and everything should probably be good.

Yes that's correct. And if you're using a powered hub, I would power cycle the hub as well.
