dsp trigger with superior drummer reaper and x18

hi, i was about to purchase dsp trigger, but i got a doubt
Can I use reaper and superior drummer 3 with my behringer x18 mixer/interface ?
Do i put the dsp and sd3 in the same track in reaper and this is all i need to do ?
I did that way with the free version, i could ear the dsp working, but didnt figure out how to add sd3 sample together
is thar because is a free version or am i doing something wrong?
I just want to use a drum pad or maybe 2 after undersrand that with my acoustic drumset
I just want to make sure to buy as soon as possible ,

Even the paid version has a demo mode so you can test it before purchasing. You should be able to get it to work with your setup.
