Does midi expression io support sysex?

Post by Moede »

Is it possible to send sysex messages from pc over usb and relay it over the midi out of the midi expression io or do the sysex messages have to come via midi in?

SysEx messages, like any other MIDI messages will follow the settings on the routing page. So assuming the USB MIDI in port is routed to send to the MIDI DIN Out (which I think is default) then the answer is yes, it is possible.

Couple more questions... Are half sustain pedals generally supported or just the kawai one? Same with studio logic one and 3 pedal systems?

How long does shipping to europe usually take?

In general, all pedals that support half pedalling are supported by MIDI Expression devices--i don't know of any that are not supported.

Shipping times vary from country to country. You can get as estimate for you particular by going through the checkout process (before you commit to purchasing).

Im building a midi keyboard and wanted to utilise your product for pedal inputs because of the limited amount of analog inputs the encoder i got has.. But now i see how powerful your device is so im gonna use it for my modwheel and pitchwheel too since its so configurable.. I have a fatar keybed with channel aftertouch and was wondering if i can somehow connect that too? I know theres the ability to use a pedal to send AT messages and fsrs in drum pedals to trigger notes, but what about using the keybeds aftertouch fsr to control AT over your device? Oh and btw i will be saving 50$ because now i dont have to buy a usb to midi converter to send sysex which my encoder requires for it to be configured.. So yeah, what a great product in so many ways
