sudden random delays on triggers

host eD 8 connected directly to usb3 on the pc with a 4 port non-powered usb hub connected to it.
2 eD 4 and another eD 8 connected to the above non-powered usb hub

Is there a newer version of firmware? I just updated like 2 days ago. it says I'm on the latest firmware.

Im always fixing bugs, you might consider updating the firmware to see if that resolves your issue. How are your devices connected?

Rob, how do I apply a later firmware if Edrumin says I'm on the latest? There is no update option???

The latest firmware is included with the latest version of the control application.

yep, realized I just needed to run the installer then it shows available firmware update. So far, it seems to have fixed the issue. in fact, my hi hat seems to be working better now too. fingers crossed it stays, but I played a good 20 minutes without interruption thanks!
