At the moment I'm looking for a new main snare.
I would prefer the EFNOTE snare (EFD-S1250-WS OR EFD-S1455-BO) or the ATV snare (aD-S13). Which one is more compatible to all the features of eDRUMin 10?
ATV or EFNOTE Snare
Re: ATV or EFNOTE Snare
I bought the Efnote 14" Snare now and I'm very happy.
But positional sensing doesn't work right I think.
@Rob: will there be a preset or tips to get a pad with 4 sensors work right?

Re: ATV or EFNOTE Snare
I would probably need to buy that snare and test with it. I know nothing about it. I'll do some research after my vacation.
There's no mention of it being capable of positional sensing.

Re: ATV or EFNOTE Snare
I would opt for the ATV unless you plan to get an EFNOTE module.
The EFNOTE has four head sensors and a rim sensor mounted beneath each of those. Eight in total for head and rim shots. There’s a separate side stick sensor in an attached rim bar. That’s nine sensors in total. IMHO it seems it would take some time for Rob to develop PS on the EFNOTE whereas the ATV already works.
Just my $0.02

Re: ATV or EFNOTE Snare
Thanks for your answers. I will try to exchange the Efnote snare for the ATV snare.
Nonetheless, it certainly makes sense for the eDrumin modules to support the Efnote products because at the moment I think Efnote overtakes ATV ...
What do you think about my theory?
