Drum pads not registering in the app but are making sound

See video below. all my main toms and a couple other triggers are not registering activity in the edrumin app. Some are but about half are not. I have 3 ED8 daisy chained + 1 ed4. The sounds are working but I have no way to adjust triggers b/c the app is not picking up the hits. I just applied the latest firmware update. tried rebooting, I hope this is just a setting. HELP! without the ability to adjust triggers on my snare, etc and see what note I'm hitting, It's gonna suck not being able to adjust triggers now and then.

You'll need to use use a 4 port USB hub connected to one of your eDRUMin 8's, and then all the other eDRUMins should connect to the hub.

Are you saying I can't daisy chain the 3 ed8 + the ed4? If I connect them to the hub won't that mean they are separate and I have to enable them every time I open SD3? Until I got the 3rd ED8, I was running 2 ED8 anbd 2 ED4. The ed8 were linked together and the 2 4s were connected directly to the PC. Problem w/ that is I would have to open setting each time I opened SD3 and check the boxes for the 2 ED4. When they are daisy chained together, it connects as one unit in SD3. So I'm a bit confused on the suggestion if you can please clarify further? Thanks!

Yes, I'm saying you cannot daisy-chain all the devices together. With a hub connected to one of your eDRUMin8's, and all the rest connected to that hub, the entire collection is using just a single connection to your computer, and in SD3 you'll just select the one ED8 and all the other devices will pass their MIDI though the main ED8. In the eDRUMin control application, you will see all four devices.

I get it now. The USB hub connects to the host port of one of the ED8s, that ED8 connects to the PC, and the other 3 EDs connect to the usb hub. So everything piggy backs on the host. Not sure why I got stuck on that. lol. thanks!
