Can't find the original setup, where he put all the connectors from pad to the shell of the kick drum, basically a copy of the drum module's inputs, but I have this page which shows his later setup, having the module part of the kick, and adding a woofer to give his bandmates good physical feedback, something e-drums lack on stage.

Question on (more) inputs on the edrummin 10
Re: Question on (more) inputs on the edrummin 10
I was not aware of that thanks very much.
Is the same true for the hi hat ?[ quote=MisterE post_id=14826 time=1711194285 user_id=1294]
I don’t think this has been pointed out yet but you don’t need anything more than one input for a ride cymbal, and you still get bow edge and bell. If the Lemon used two for the ride, that frees up a stereo input. You can split that for two singles.

Re: Question on (more) inputs on the edrummin 10
I had 3 zones from a single input using my Yamaha pcy135 cymbal, so if the Lemon is similar, sure, you could get 3 zones.
Just know that not all VSTs have libraries for edge, bow and bell on the HH. Some Toontrack packs do.

Re: Question on (more) inputs on the edrummin 10
for the software im using i usually need to select the note for both the ride and bow, and bell for them to get the right note, i wonder if that still works with one cable
Re: Question on (more) inputs on the edrummin 10
Thanks all for the tips and replies.
Rob say I was to purchase both a 10 and and 8 could i daisy chain those the same as I would the 10 and 4 or would the 8 require it’s own power ?
Additionally does the Mac app support Mac Sonoma ?
Many thanks

Re: Question on (more) inputs on the edrummin 10
Yes, you can daisy chain an eDRUMin 10 and 8, with either one being the host, supplying power over USB to the other. And yes, Sonoma is supported.
Re: Question on (more) inputs on the edrummin 10
aside for cost is there any downside to the 10+4 vs the 10+8, i only need 15 and inputs and i know i can split drums as well but my preference would be to have a single cable for each drum, my concern is more around ease of setup and having a clean setup.
Re: Question on (more) inputs on the edrummin 10
No difference really except for the ED4 being a bit smaller than the ED8. If you don't need the MIDI in / out DIN, you might be better off just getting two ED8s.
Re: Question on (more) inputs on the edrummin 10
Yeah not gonna use a physical midi in or out /cable. Just USB B to USB Type C cable to my laptop/desktop straight up, as long as i can connect the two devices with the single cable still to my computer , that would still be the case right?
thanks !
thanks !
