Roland RPU-3 triple pedal (piano)

Will the MIDI Expression iO work with a Roland RPU-3 triple pedal? I'm looking for a replacement system for the pedals that came with my Kawai VPC-1 keyboard (F-30 pedals) which have died. Ideally, I'd connect the Roland's 3 separate 1/4" jacks to the MIDI Expression inputs and send the midi out from there to the Kawai's midi in. Can anyone confirm that this will work? Thanks!

I definitely know of a few people using that pedal, so it should work without issue.
