Splitter

Hi. I got an edrumin 8 for Christmas. I’m using a splitter to connect two pods to one input. I have selected to switch you them to mono so they show separate inputs in software. However both pads are triggering the same drum. I’m pretty sure I’ve got the wrong type of splitter. Can someone show me what I need to make this work.

Awesome thanks. I have to say even though I’ve only played with this for a bit it is leaps and bounds better than my Alesis dm8 module I’ve used for the past 13 years. Thanks for an amazing product.
