I posted build 16.

Changes
  • Fixed a triggering issue that can affect some center mounted piezo pads.
  • Changed the default velocity curve settings.

Hi-hat pedal not working correctly since build 15.

I've upgraded to build 15 last week and everything worked fine until I changed "Edge Sense" setting on the hi-hat. It was previously on setting 99 and I changed it to 75. Since then the hi-hat sounds like it's slightly oped and pedal movement has no effect on it. I changed the "Edge Sense" setting back to 99, but the problem persists. Upgraded to build 16, same problem.

Just FYI pedal is correctly showing its position in Edrumin software, but the hi-hat sound doesnt change with pedal movement.

I don't think the issue is related to the BETA. Sounds like you changed something else. Please post screenshots of your settings for your hihat pedal and hihat cymbal.

Hi Rob,

I wasn't able to participate in loading beta's the past two months. Just loaded up the latest 2.3 beta. Thanks for all the upgrades - the expanded use of color in the Transient Scanning Controls (especially Thresh) is very helpful.

BTW, I've always updated through my powered d-link DUB-H4 USB hub, I think removing the USB hub warning is safe.

I appreciate the improved mouse control in the Rimshot Range control.

Thanks for all the improvements - the UI looks terrific.

The manual improvements are very good also.

I haven't had any report / experiences of updating issues when connected to a hub in a long time, so I'd say it's safe.

@TOP, I've been flashing Android phone firmware for many years and have encountered my share of bricked devices that I was able to revive so my fear of flashing firmware is low.

My USB hub is a good quality D-Link unit with quality cables. I've been upgrading through the hub since the eDRUMin 4 was released. The first few times I bypassed the hub.
