I use my eDrumIn4 for additional trigger inputs not provided by the TM-6 Pro (ie Toms). The pedal input goes unused. Additionally, I have a midi keyboard without a pitch or mod wheel. I was thinking I would be able to use the pedal input to generate MIDI pitch bend mappings for both synths and drums. The MIDI Expression software allows sending of pitch bend. Can you add the feature to the eDrumIn control software as well?
Thank you,
Joe
Pedal Control Pitch Bend
Re: Pedal Control Pitch Bend
I'll look into how much trouble it will be.
Re: Pedal Control Pitch Bend
I wouldn't mind paying for a MIDI Expression and I would have just bought one already if they were in stock. In preference of adding more clutter to my space and in lieu of current difficulties related to sourcing components I also would not be opposed to be being charged the price of a MIDI expression to upgrade the firmware of the EDrumIn with capabilities like pitchbend that might encroach on the compartmentalized product spaces and blur the line between the two offerings.
That being said I purchased a MIDI Solutions Pedal Controller through Amazon in the meantime. However it doesn't like the expression output of the Gamechanger Bigsby and I am trying to determine why. Have you or any of your customers tried using GC Bigsby with your MIDI Expression product(s) yet?
Forgive me if I am overstepping, I might be able to offer some pro bono cycles on the software development side (with updating DSPTrigger too) to free up your time to work hardware/firmware if that's something you would be open to.
